According to Amac News: Based on the announcement of the committee, the purpose of these awards, which are known as one of the most prestigious achievements in the world of production, is to celebrate outstanding achievements in the fields of sustainability, technological innovation and social impact.
The awards ceremony will be held on April 9, 2025 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
Focusing on transformative developments in the future of manufacturing, the theme of this year's AIM Global Manufacturing Awards is 'Mapping the Future of Global Investment'.
Through this platform, manufacturing leaders, policymakers and investors will connect to explore partnerships, showcase their achievements and create meaningful change in the global economy.
These awards include four categories. The Excellence in Sustainable Manufacturing Award recognizes companies that are leaders in environmentally responsible practices, including reducing waste and optimizing energy use.
The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Innovation Award recognizes organizations that use advanced solutions such as robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI) to transform their manufacturing processes.
The third award, the Excellence in Export and Global Reach Award, is given to organizations that have successfully expanded their markets internationally and contributed to economic growth through exports and global partnerships.
Finally, the Outstanding Contribution Award by Government Institutions and Public Institutions is awarded to public institutions that have implemented policies, infrastructure projects and collaborations to promote the manufacturing sector and emphasize the importance of social inclusion and well-being.
Finalists and winners of the competition will have access to networking opportunities that allow direct interaction with senior executives, policymakers and investors at AIM Congress sessions and panel discussions. Each submission will be judged on five key criteria: innovation and technology leadership, sustainability and impact, global reach, practicality and visionary leadership.
Eligible entries include manufacturing companies of all sizes, startups, SMEs, technology providers and government entities.
Entities active in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), additive manufacturing, smart infrastructure, renewable energy, biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, advanced materials, industrial automation and Internet of Things (IoT) are encouraged to register.
This year's awards will include a preliminary review of submissions, and finalists will be notified by March 7, 2025. Winners will be announced during the AIM Congress on April 9, 2025 at a special event in the ADNEC Global Manufacturing Room.
