The Sharjah Police (SP) has announced that together with Rafid Automotive Solutions, it has introduced an innovative initiative to facilitate the renewal and inspection process of vehicles through a smart application.

Amac News: In the Sharjah Police announcement, it is stated that this new service is designed to facilitate the process of technical inspection and vehicle renewal, and as a result, to save time and improve the quality of services for users.
The initiative focuses on private cars with Sharjah number plates that are less than 8 years old and have had their last MOT within the last 18 months.
With the Rafid app, users can take advantage of the "remote inspection" feature, follow specific steps and upload clear photos of their vehicles to confirm that they are not accident-damaged, eliminating the need to visit traditional inspection centers.
Khalid Mohammad Al-Kay, Director of the Sharjah Police Motor and Driver Licensing Department, emphasized that this service is in line with the emirate's digital transformation efforts and aims to improve the quality of life by providing efficient and fast government services.
Ahmed Juma Al Musharrekh, CEO of Rafid, also said: "This initiative shows the company's commitment to provide innovative and contemporary solutions and is a significant progress in improving the automotive sector and providing faster and more convenient services to the society."
