Microsoft invests1.5 billion dollars in Abu Dhabi

Microsoft has announced that it will invest 1.5 billion dollars in G42 Abu Dhabi.


 According to Amac News: Microsoft has said that it will invest this amount in the leading artificial intelligence technology holding company in the UAE for the development of artificial intelligence and global expansion in G42 Abu Dhabi.
Microsoft also said that Brad Smith, the company's vice chairman and president, will join the G42 board as part of the partnership.
G42 will run its AI applications and services on Microsoft Azure and partner to provide advanced AI solutions to global public sector and enterprise customers.
This investment will strengthen the collaboration between the two companies in bringing the latest technologies and Microsoft's AI skills initiatives to the UAE and other countries around the world.
G42 and Microsoft will also work together to bring advanced AI and digital infrastructure to countries in the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.
