NMDC Energy signs $1.136 billion EPC contract in Taiwan

NMDC Energy has announced that it has been awarded an EPC contract from Taiwan Power Corporation (Taipower) for the installation of pipelines, nearshore works and dredging in the Tung-Xia Power Plant Phase II upgrade project.


According to Amac News: The company's announcement states that this $1.136 billion project includes the design, construction and installation of 111 kilometers of underwater pipelines at depths between 10 and 55 meters, which stretches between Taichung and Tong-xia on the west coast of Taiwan.
The project is led by NMDC Energy and leverages the capabilities of NMDC Dredging & Marine, and represents the NMDC Group's integrated and multi-disciplinary approach to engineering, procurement and construction, the announcement said.
