Gulf Data Hub and KKR form strategic partnership

Gulf Data Hub (GDH) and KKR, a leading global investment firm, announced on Friday that funds affiliated with the firm are to acquire a stake in GDH.


According to Amac News: This transaction is considered one of the largest international investments in a business established and managed in the United Arab Emirates.
With the completion of this transaction, KKR and GDH have committed to support more than $5 billion in total investment to strengthen GDH's market leading position and support its international growth plans through organic and inorganic strategies.
Omar Bin Sultan Al Ala, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Programs of the UAE, said at the signing ceremony of this agreement in Dubai that this achievement shows the strength of the UAE's digital economy and is in line with the national digital economy strategy.
Tara Davies, co-head of KKR's EMEA region, also said that the Middle East is a fast-growing region for large-scale deployments, and due to competitively priced energy resources and the government's ongoing commitment to growing the digital sector, the region has become one of the most attractive investment destinations. is
On the other hand, Waldemar Schlesack, global director of digital infrastructure at KKR, also stated that digital assets form the basis of a data-driven society.
