Saif Ghobash, Assistant Under-Secretary for the Petroleum, Gas and Mineral Resources of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE, on behalf of Sohail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, participated at the international mining conference that was held from January 14 to 16, 2025 in Riyadh.

According to the Emirates, the participation of this official of the Ministry of Mineral Resources of this country shows the commitment of the Ministry to use the best practices and technologies for the development of the mining sector of the United Arab Emirates.
On the sidelines of the conference, Ghobash met with Mohammad Fozal Kabir Khan, Advisor to the Ministry of Electricity, Power and Mineral Resources of Bangladesh, as well as Kimberly D. Harrington, Deputy Secretary of Energy of the United States Diplomacy visited.
Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in the field of energy and mining and emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships to achieve sustainable development.
