Alexander Lukashenko, the president of Belarus, said that Afghanistan and Syria are interested in economic cooperation with his country, but the conditions of both countries are complicated due to the political and security situation.

Amac News: Lukashenko made these remarks on Friday, January 17, at the meeting to review the foreign trade of Belarus for 2025.
He said that Syria has offered economic cooperation to Belarus and asked the officials of this country to travel to Syria and make the necessary plans.
The president of Belarus also added that the caretaker government of Afghanistan has also shown great interest in Belarusian products.
However, he emphasized that the conditions in both countries are difficult due to wars, economic and political crises, and this can affect the process of cooperation.
Lukashenko added that his country is ready to cooperate with these countries in various fields, provided that suitable and stable conditions are provided in these two countries.
This is while last week, Belarus sent a high-level delegation consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and several ministries of economy and education to Kabul to talk with the officials of the caretaker government of Afghanistan.
Kabul widely welcomed the delegation of Belarus and described this event as a new chapter in the relations between the two countries.
