According to Amac News: On the sidelines of the Oracle CloudWorld tour in Dubai, Ahmed Adli, Vice President of Cloud Engineering for the Middle East and Africa at Oracle, said that the UAE is not only using AI technology, but also developing it.
Adli stressed that the UAE and Saudi Arabia are leading in the adoption of AI and cloud computing technologies in the region.
He also announced Oracle’s plans to fivefold the capacity of its cloud computing center in the UAE next year.
Stressing the importance of developing human capacity to achieve digital transformation, Adli announced Oracle’s plan to train 350,000 people in AI and cloud computing technologies in the coming years.
He emphasized the UAE's position as a global hub and destination for technology and innovation, saying that the country is hosting the largest Oracle CloudWorld event in the region.
