The UAE delegation concluded its participation in the World Economic Forum 2025 in Davos, Switzerland, which took place from January 20 to 24.

According to Amac News: The delegation, which included more than 100 members, was led by Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Council for Culture and the Arts.
The UAE delegation at the 55th Davos meeting stressed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships and participating in global development efforts at regional and international levels.
The theme of the meeting, “Collaborating in the Smart Age,” was in line with the UAE’s commitment to sustainable development and its focus on using advanced technologies for transformative solutions.
Sheikha Latifa participated in various sessions of the meeting to showcase the UAE’s development achievements and exchange views with her international counterparts on priorities.
He met with prominent figures such as Bangladesh’s interim Prime Minister, Muhammad Yunus; former Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra; and Hilde Schwab, founder and chair of the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship.
The UAE government supported its private sector at Davos 2025, with national and private companies making up the majority of the UAE delegation.
This strong presence reflects the sector’s critical role in the UAE’s sustainable economic growth.
At the summit, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) allocated AED 36.7 million (US$ 10 million) to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to support sustainable programmes for displaced communities.
The UAE and the World Economic Forum also signed an agreement to establish the Global Innovation Platform. The platform will develop the Future Readiness Index for Laws and the Global Guide to Legal Innovation, as well as strengthen a network of experts and policymakers.
The UAE and the World Economic Forum also signed an agreement to promote the global adoption of future technologies. Leveraging the UAE Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (UAE C4IR), which is overseen by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), the partnership will help strengthen collaboration and develop emerging technologies.
The Abu Dhabi Health Authority also signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the World Economic Forum to advance smart health systems globally.
The joint initiative seeks to leverage public-private partnerships to advance digital technology, data and artificial intelligence to maximize healthcare efficiency and improve patient outcomes.
