Sharjah Municipality has said that new measures have been taken to provide social services to flood victims.
According to Amac News: Mayor of Sharjah says they will deploy 65 public service stations to reduce the effects of heavy rain in the affected areas.
The mayor went on to say that all available resources, including vehicles, will be used to minimize damage, improve traffic flow and ensure the safety of residents and their belongings.
According to the mayor of Sharjah, a dedicated team is working 24 hours a day to carry out field work in all areas of Sharjah.
Also, Obaid Saeed Al-Tuniji, the general manager of SM and head of the Emergency Committee, also says: "In these stations, the affected families are helped to reach the authorized shelters, the blocked vehicles are cleared, the elderly and other people in need are helped."
