UAE's infrastructure sector to continue growth in 2025

International reports from research firms specializing in construction and infrastructure define the UAE’s position as one of the most active construction markets in the region and the world.


According to Amac News: Citing UAE state media, the reports predict that the country’s infrastructure sector will continue to grow in 2025.
According to the “Mordor Intelligence” report, the UAE’s infrastructure sector is expected to achieve a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5% from 2025 to 2030.
This growth will be supported by the government and the private sector, in various areas such as transportation, renewable energy and real estate.
ProTenders, a leading platform in the field of Construction Intelligence and e-tendering, has also confirmed that the UAE is one of the most active construction markets in the Gulf Cooperation Council.
According to the company, more than 52% of the country’s active projects are currently in the planning, design or tendering stages.
ProTenders also announced that the value of planned projects in the UAE reached about $112 billion at the beginning of this year, while projects under development are worth approximately $56.5 billion and the value of tenders has exceeded $62.8 billion.
ProTenders is currently tracking a number of ongoing and upcoming projects in the UAE with a total value of $772 billion.
These projects demonstrate the global competitiveness of the country’s infrastructure sector, in which key local and international players are active.
Consulting firm MarkWide Research also emphasized the UAE’s commitment to developing world-class infrastructure, and introduced it as a global hub for trade, tourism and investment.
