Mohammad Saeed Arbabi, CEO of the Chabahar Free Zone Organization, announced that the zone, with its strategic location, has provided significant capacity for Afghan investors and traders.

Amac News: Saeed Arbabi said on Monday, January 27, that all the necessary infrastructure and facilities have been prepared for the presence of Afghan traders in areas such as transit of goods, re-export, production and packaging.
Arbabi added that Chabahar, due to its connection to the Indian Ocean and open waters, is a key gateway in the North-South transit corridor not only for Afghanistan, but also for the countries of Central Asia, the Caucasus and Russia.
Chabahar Port in southern Iran on the coast of the Persian Gulf can play a key role in regional trade as one of the cheapest and safest routes for transporting goods.
The CEO of the Chabahar Free Zone also announced the zone's plans to develop infrastructure, improve the business environment, and strengthen interactions with neighboring countries, adding that connecting Chabahar Port to the rail network in the future will create a major transformation in the transit of goods at the national and international levels.
