According to Amac News: The UAE is currently home to three of the world’s largest solar power plants, with a target of 14.2 gigawatts of clean energy capacity by 2030.
These plants are crucial to achieving a strategic balance between traditional and clean energy sources, and are in line with the UAE Energy Strategy 2050 and the National Hydrogen Strategy 2050.
The UAE has said it aims to triple its share of clean energy in the next seven years, with investments of between 150 billion and 200 billion dirhams planned for this purpose.
The country has prioritized clean and renewable energy projects, particularly solar energy, as a key strategy in combating climate change.
