33 key partners for ICAO 2025 Global Implementation Symposium announced

The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of the UAE announced 33 key partners for the ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS 2025) and the inaugural Global Sustainable Aviation Market (GSAM) to be held in Abu Dhabi from 10 to 12 February.


According to Amac News: The list of supporting partners for the global event, along with Sustainable Aviation Futures MENA, includes: Abu Dhabi Airports, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Etihad Airways, Emirates, flydubai, United Aviation, AO - Creative Drones Lighting, Falcon Air Services, Archer Aviation, Smart and Autonomous Vehicle Industries (SAVI), Integrated Transport Hub (Abu Dhabi Transport), SANAD-Mubadala, Airbus, Boeing, Indra, ADNOC, Velar Air Mobility and Qatar Aviation Academy.
In addition, a group of global companies specializing in sustainable aviation technologies include: Lummus Technology, ZR2 Group, TOPOSE - Energy Transition Solutions, LODD Autonomous Logistics Services, SmartEnergy, Freqpuentis, Johnson Matthey JM, Skies Fifty (an investment firm specializing in aviation sustainability and accelerating carbon neutrality for the aviation industry) and King & Spalding.
The list of media partners for this international aviation event also includes: Emirates News Agency (WAM), Aviation Week Network, Times Aerospace, Arabian Aerospace, AeroTime and Green Mobility Magazine.
The event will witness the participation of more than 1,500 aviation professionals from 193 member states of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The event aims to strengthen international cooperation and exchange experiences on the future of sustainable aviation and innovation in environmental solutions.
The symposium will feature several panel discussions and forums attended by representatives from governments, aviation industries, regional and international organizations, major corporations and financial institutions.
The event will focus on two main themes: AI-based solutions and efforts to transform the aviation industry towards sustainability.
“The number of partners supporting this event demonstrates its importance in advancing international efforts to create a more sustainable aviation system,” said Saeed Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the GCAA.
The ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS) is recognized as one of the most important international events on civil aviation safety, security and sustainability, and is the first to be held in the Middle East.
Previous editions of the symposium have been held in Istanbul, Seoul and Nata Cana (Dominican Republic).
Hosted in the UAE, the course is the first of its kind in the Middle East and focuses specifically on two main themes: sustainability and the application of artificial intelligence in the aviation industry. The Global Sustainable Aviation Market (GSAM) is also being launched as an Emirati initiative to bring together all stakeholders in the production, distribution and consumption of sustainable aviation fuels.
