AD Ports Group signs 50-year land lease agreement with Al Ain Mills

AD Ports Group has announced that it has signed a 50-year land lease agreement for a grain storage facility with Al Ain Mills, a member of Al Hazaa Investment Group.


According to Amac News: The strategic partnership will lead to the development of an advanced grain storage and processing facility at Khalifa Port in the southern region, enhancing the port’s capabilities.
The facility is planned to cover an area of ​​50,000 square meters and will have a storage capacity of approximately 300,000 metric tons. The facility is expected to be operational within two and a half years after construction begins.
Strategically located in Khalifa Port, the leasehold plot will provide Al Ain factories with direct access to the docks and facilities of Khalifa Port.
Saeed Al Mazrouei, CEO of AD Ports Group’s Ports Cluster, said of the agreement: “This agreement underscores the strategic importance of Khalifa Port as a vital trade hub, not only for the UAE, but for the entire region. The state-of-the-art grain storage and processing facilities will attract more customers seeking easy access to global markets.”
Jamal Al Hazaa, Chairman of Al Haza Investment Group, also highlighted the importance of the agreement, noting that the partnership is a strategic step towards strengthening food security and developing infrastructure in line with the highest global standards.
Meanwhile, Abdullah Al Hazaa, CEO of Al Ain Factories, said that the partnership will help localize the industry and support the UAE’s national aspirations for the future.
The new facility is expected to play a vital role in supporting the UAE’s food security initiatives and contribute to the region’s economic growth by creating new job opportunities and boosting trade activities.
