Akram Awad, CEO and Partner with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), an American global management consulting firm announced that the number of AI specialists in the United Arab Emirates has increased by nearly 40% since 2022.

Amac News, Awad stated in an interview with the Emirati state news agency WAM, during the second day of the "AI Everything Global" at the Dubai Exhibition Center, "This growth is exceptional compared to other countries competing in this field, especially given the global competition for attracting digital talent."
He added that the UAE has become a powerful competitor in the field of artificial intelligence after establishing advanced digital infrastructure and developing a supportive environment for regulations and investment.
The CEO of Boston Consulting Group continued, "The UAE has successfully created a solid foundation that can turn it into a global leader with technology exports and a broad base of specialized talent in AI in the coming years."
Awad noted that the UAE is now one of the most attractive countries for AI specialists and effectively retains top talent.
He explained that the UAE has attracted these specialists by leveraging several key factors, including offering outstanding job opportunities, a high quality of life, and a flexible environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
