Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), welcomed Massimiliano Cifalitti, Head of ABB’s Smart Power Division, a Swiss multinational technology and engineering company, at DEWA’s headquarters.

Amac News: Based on the UAE state media, the meeting is an important step in strengthening the collaboration between DEWA and ABB to drive smart energy developments, digital transformation and sustainability in Dubai.
The two sides discussed opportunities for collaboration in areas such as smart grid automation, predictive maintenance solutions and advanced energy management systems.
These initiatives are in line with DEWA’s strong efforts in digital transformation, which leverages artificial intelligence, blockchain and the Internet of Things to create a smart and integrated energy ecosystem.
Al Tayer noted that DEWA delivers its services with the highest standards of availability, reliability and efficiency to satisfy all its customers, partners and stakeholders.
He stressed that as part of its efforts to lead the transition to clean energy, DEWA is committed to global collaboration and the adoption of next-generation solutions that ensure Dubai’s leadership in sustainability and the development of smart infrastructure.
