Dubai Aviation Enterprise (DAE) on Wednesday announced its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2024, reporting a 36.2% increase in profits to $477.5 million in 2024 compared to $350.6 million in 2023.
According to
Amac News: Based on the DAE’s report, the company’s revenues increased by 9% in 2024 to $1.42 billion from $1.31 billion in 2023.
Total assets reached more than $13 billion by the end of 2024 compared to $12.26 billion in 2023.
Business and performance highlights include:
• Aircraft purchased: 83 (Owned: 30; Managed: 53)
• Aircraft sold: 68 (Owned: 19; Managed: 49)
• Leases, extensions and modifications signed: 233 (Owned: 190; Managed: 43)
• Long-term leases of 17 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft to Turkish Airlines, Eastar Jet and Hainan Airlines.
• Number of hours logged (DAE Engineering): approximately 1,600,000
• Number of checks performed (DAE Engineering): 277
• Hangar capacity increased by 30% by adding 22 bays, including one suitable for the A380.
“We acquired 83 civil and executive aircraft, increased revenue by 9% and increased pre-tax profit by 45%,” said DAE CEO Firoz Tarapour regarding the results.
DAE Engineering continues to deliver record-breaking performance with revenue up 33% year-on-year to $186.4 million and profit up 94% to $43.2 million.
The addition of a state-of-the-art hangar with five new lanes at our facility in Amman, Jordan, will increase our capacity by approximately 30% and strengthen JARMAC’s position as one of the leading MRO service providers in the region.”
