DP World reports 65% completion of Sokhna Logistics Park phase 1

DP World, a major UAE-based multinational company active in port management and logistics services, announced that 65% of the first phase of the Sokhna Logistics Park development in Egypt has been completed.


According to Amac News, The $80 million modern logistics hub, strategically located in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), is set to strengthen Egypt’s logistics infrastructure and position the country as a key trade hub in the region.
The 300,000 square meter complex is designed to provide integrated and cost-effective supply chain solutions and leverage DP World’s extensive global network.
The park, which is scheduled for completion in June 2025, will help increase productivity, reduce logistics costs and strengthen connectivity between Egypt, the Middle East, Africa and beyond.
The park is located just ten kilometers from Sokhna Port, providing direct access to key markets in Greater Cairo and major industrial areas. Its strategic location will allow businesses to reduce their operating costs and improve their efficiency by facilitating cargo movement.
According to DP World, the complex has been built to the highest international standards and is designed to support a variety of industries, including agriculture, pharmaceuticals, retail, automotive and textiles.
The new facility has attracted significant interest from local and international markets, including businesses based in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) looking to expand their operations in the region.
