The meeting discussed the business growth opportunities that the Emirate of Sharjah offers to investors. The visiting delegation was also briefed on the attractive investment prospects and incentives for the Chinese business community.
The purpose of the delegation’s visit is to explore ways of mutual cooperation and exploit the commercial and industrial benefits that Sharjah and its free zones offer to investors.
Currently, more than 95 Chinese companies in various sectors, including oil and gas, electronics, heavy machinery and engineering, are operating in the Hamriyah Free Zone and Sharjah International Airport Free Zone.
Sharjah is known for its advanced investment landscape and has modern infrastructure, including world-class ports and airports, combined with comprehensive services available in its free zones. These factors facilitate business operations for Chinese companies, allowing them to grow and flourish in various fields, including heavy industry, high-tech and e-commerce.
The Chinese delegation concluded its visit with a tour of the facilities located in the SAIF Zone and some selected customs centers. They were introduced to a range of services, including customs facilitation procedures.
