UAE economy projected to grow by 5-6% in 2025

UAE Minister of Economy, Abdullah bin Tawq Al Marri predicted that the UAE’s national economy will grow by between 5% and 6% in 2025. He attributed this growth to strong performance in vital sectors such as technology, renewable energy, trade, financial services and infrastructure.


According to Amac News, Speaking on the sidelines of the second day of the World Government Summit (WGS) 2025 in Dubai, he noted that the UAE’s GDP growth averaged 4.8% between 2021 and 2024, while non-oil GDP growth averaged 6.2%.
In addition, the UAE’s non-oil sectors accounted for 75% of the national economy’s GDP, indicating progress in achieving the goals of the “We, the UAE 2031” vision.
Al Marri stressed that the continued growth is a clear sign of the country's national economy's ability to maintain high and sustainable growth compared to advanced economies.
He added that the UAE's economic strategy includes the circular economy, the spatial economy and emerging economic sectors, as well as exploring new economic blocs, forming partnerships and attracting foreign investment.
The UAE Minister of Economy stated that the UAE economy has high resilience and strength in the face of global challenges while maintaining sustainable growth.
