The United Arab Emirates welcomed the agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia on the demarcation of land borders.

According to Amac News: The two countries agreed on determining the land borders in the area of four villages in the Caucasus region.
While welcoming this agreement, the UAE emphasized that this process can build trust and strengthen peace between the two countries and strengthen stability in the Caucasus region.
Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, the Minister of State, emphasized that this agreement represents an important step towards a comprehensive peace agreement.
Al Sayegh added: "The agreement can strengthen development and peace at both the regional and international levels. "This agreement will benefit both countries and their people."
Karabakh is a mountain located in the South Caucasus region. This mountainous region is one of the longest territorial disputes in the world.
The international community considers this region to be part of the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, but in the last three decades, large parts of it have been under the control of Armenia.
The Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia engaged in a bloody war over this region in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and deadly conflicts have continued ever since.
The last conflict over Karabakh in the Caucasus region between Armenia and Azerbaijan took place in 2020, which resulted in the death of four Armenian soldiers.
