In recent years, UAE investments in Turkey have exceeded $6 billion, and Turkish investments in the UAE have exceeded $3 billion.

According to Amac News, Burak Dağlıoğlu, Head of the Turkish Presidential Investment Office, said on the sidelines of the Investopia 2025 event that kicked off in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, February 26, that bilateral investment flows are expected to grow further as the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) has boosted investment exchanges between the two countries.
He stressed that Turkish companies are interested in investing in the UAE and want to access Asian and African markets through this.
Dağlıoğlu added that Turkey also provides attractive investment opportunities for Emirati investors. According to him, Turkey provides access to a market of over one billion consumers by leveraging its extensive trade network, including the EU Customs Union and 30 free trade agreements.
He explained that Turkey has made significant investments in its infrastructure, making it one of the most connected countries in the region. Dağlıoğlu noted that Istanbul alone provides access to 1.3 billion people and the country’s GDP is close to $1.2 trillion.
The Turkish official also stressed the importance of strengthening investment dialogue between the two countries, saying that the future of UAE-Turkey cooperation has great potential for mutual growth.
He also pointed to the role of Investopia as a leading global platform that provides an ideal environment for discussing bilateral and multilateral investment opportunities.
