AIM Congress, an investment platform based in Abu Dhabi, has announced that it will host the TradeTech Forum, organized by the World Economic Forum (WEF), on April 8, 2025.
According to
Amac News, the TradeTech Forum 2025, with the participation of more than 400 of the world’s most prominent business leaders and experts, aims to expand the conversation on the use of technology to transform global trade and investment.
The second edition of the TradeTech Forum will be held under the theme “TradeTech Transition: Evaluating the Present, Envisioning the Future.”
Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the UAE, said that technology can transform global supply chains and create opportunities for expanding international trade.
He said the technology allows less developed countries and small and medium-sized enterprises to participate effectively in the global trading system, while enhancing security and transparency.
Al-Zayudi added: “The TradeTech Forum is a key platform to advance these benefits, bringing together global business leaders to explore the use of technology to make supply chains smarter, more sustainable and more inclusive.
The forum’s agenda includes several multidisciplinary sessions. The forum will begin with the TradeTech Face-Off, an engaging breakfast debate featuring two opposing perspectives on the future of TradeTech. In this debate, participants will be asked to state their positions on the future of TradeTech.
The conversation will expand to topics such as smart customs and how AI is revolutionizing trade, a topic explored in depth in the latest TradeTech report, “Artificial Intelligence for Efficiency, Sustainability and Inclusiveness in TradeTech,” released at the annual meeting in Davos.
