South Korea launched a satellite into space

South Korea's Yonhap News Agency has reported that the country has launched into space.


According to Amac News: Yonhap wrote that this satellite was launched into the earth's orbit as part of this country's project to create a satellite constellation by 2027.
This satellite, called NEONSAT-1, was placed in NEONSAT space about 50 minutes after the launch of the rocket at an altitude of 520 km.
The New-space Earth Observation Satellite (NEONSAT) is a space project by the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
South Korea plans to launch five more nanosatellites in June 2026 and another five in September 2027.
