The Italian industry minister has said that the country will invest around 10 billion euros in the semiconductor industry during 2024.
According to Amac News: Italian Industry Minister Adolfo Urso said in a press conference: "Italy is preparing to become one of the largest microelectronics manufacturers in Europe."
Urso also announced Italy's investment to build a chip manufacturing plant worth 3.2 billion euros ($3.4 billion) in the north of this country.
