The World Economic Forum (WEF) is holding a special meeting on global cooperation, growth and energy for development and practical, collaborative and sustainable solutions to common global challenges in Riyadh.
According to Amac News: The World Economic Forum (WEF) is hosting 1,000 world leaders from 92 countries on April 28-29 to support global dialogue.
Building on the inaugural Growth Summit held in Switzerland last year, the meeting promotes forward-looking approaches to interconnected crises.
More than 220 public figures from more than 60 countries of the world participate in this special meeting, which is held under the patronage of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
15 leaders from the government, private sector and international organizations will co-chair the event. More than half of the participants are companies, government institutions and thought leaders from the Global South and emerging economies.
The meeting will showcase World Economic Forum developments such as the Future of Growth Initiative, the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and the Uplink Challenges aimed at identifying and scaling innovative climate solutions.
