The balance sheet of the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) has announced that the balance sheet of this bank reached 750 billion dirhams at the end of last February.


According to Amac News: The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates has said that according to the February 2024 balance sheet report, the general budget of the Central Bank has increased by 32.5%.
The bank said that the Central Bank's balance sheet increased by 1.8 percent or 13 billion dirhams on a monthly basis compared to 734.61 billion dirhams in January 2024.
According to the statistics of the Central Bank of the Emirates, the assets allocation of the Central Bank's balance sheet included 321.21 billion dirhams for cash balance in February, 219.75 billion dirhams for investments, 174.27 billion dirhams for deposits, 1.83 billion dirhams for loans and advances, and 30.56 billion dirhams for other assets.
In its report, this bank states that in the debt and capital section, the balance sheet includes 318.46 billion dirhams for current and deposit accounts, about 257 billion dirhams for treasury documents and Islamic deposit certificates, 139.36 billion dirhams for issued banknotes and coins, 16.98 billion dirhams for capital and reserves and 5.82 billion dirhams for other liabilities.
