Officials of the Afghanistan International Exhibition Center have announced the national and international exhibition in the country and say that more than 700 domestic and international investors will participate in this exhibition.
According to Amac News; Mohammad Saber Latifi, the head of Afghanistan's National and International Exhibition Center, said in a press conference today (Thursday, 2 may) that on the eve of the arrival of the industry week, this center is going to hold the national and international exhibition in the country on 23rd of Thor for a week.
Mr. Latifi added that 700 national investors and about 100 international investors are going to participate in this exhibition and he asked the citizens of the country to visit the exhibition and buy local products so that the country's economy can develop.
He stated that the purpose of holding this exhibition is to support domestic products and this international exhibition will be organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Chamber of Commerce and Investment, Chamber of Industries and Mines and a number of private companies.
Sakhi Ahmed Peyman, the first deputy of the Chamber of Industries and Mines, said in this program that every country can achieve self-sufficiency with the support of businessmen, investors, industrialists and the unity of the people, and holding an international exhibition in Kabul is an effective step in the field of trade and investment in the country.
Mr. Peyman added that 15 domestic companies from the Chamber of Mining Industries are going to participate in this international exhibition to display the mines and precious and semi-precious stones of the country.
Fariba Nouri, the Board of Directors of the Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said in this program that holding exhibitions can be an effective step for all businessmen, especially for women trade professionals, in the field of supply and introduction of their products.
Mrs. Noori added that more than 50 women investors are expected to participate in this exhibition and asked the caretaker government and the international community to provide comprehensive support to Afghan women as in the past and to cooperate with women in the field of job creation.
However, some citizens of Kabul consider it beneficial to hold such exhibitions in the future and say that holding these exhibitions is beneficial for raising awareness of domestic products and asked the government to hold more exhibitions in different areas of Kabul city and provinces of the country.
