The Council of Ministers (MCM) has announced that it has approved amendments to the OECD Principles on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

According to Amac News: The Council of Ministers (MCM) announced during a meeting that they approved the principles of privacy, intellectual property rights, safety and integrity of information for the purpose of recent developments in artificial intelligence.
With 47 members now, including the Alliance for Artificial Intelligence, it ensures worldwide progress.
According to the Council of Ministers (MCM), the OECD's AI policy tracking developments show that venture capital investments in artificial intelligence startups have increased 9 times and the demand for artificial intelligence skills has increased by 130 percent.
The development and deployment of artificial intelligence systems is growing to increase productivity, accelerate scientific research, promote environmental sustainability, and improve healthcare and education, while supporting human rights and democratic values, said OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann.
Continuing his words, he emphasized: risks such as privacy, security, fairness and well-being are developing at an unprecedented speed and scale and are turning into real-world harms such as the continuation of prejudice and discrimination, the creation and dissemination of false and inaccurate information.
By addressing general purpose and productive AI and its effects on our economies and societies, the revised OECD AI Principles provide a blueprint for global interoperability in AI policy and for policymakers to keep pace with the technology, Cormann added.
