The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has announced that this organization has conducted more than 40,000 tax inspection visits during the last year.


According to Amac News: The Federal Tax Authority, today (Sunday, May 5), published a statement saying that in 2023, the organization conducted 39,470 inspection visits through 211 campaigns in local markets in all the Emirates, which represents an annual increase of 80.71 It is a percentage of the number of visits.
The organization has said that it has intensified its supervisory efforts in cooperation with various related institutions in order to protect consumer rights, fight tax evasion and increase tax compliance.
The Federal Tax Authority emphasized that these campaigns are aimed at strengthening market control by intensifying inspection visits to markets across the country to ensure compliance with tax laws, rules and procedures.
The Director General of the FTA noted: "Over the past few years, the Federal Tax Authority has established strategic partnerships with relevant entities in the public and private sectors that have contributed to the successful implementation of the tax system."
The Federal Tax Authority explained that market inspection campaigns showed an increase in the number of certified compliance establishments to 32,710 in 2023, up from 18,230 in 2022, representing an increase of 79.41 percent.
