Dubai fintech meeting begins

The Dubai FinTech Summit to discuss the latest innovations and challenges kicks off at Madinah Jumeirah.


According to Amac News: This meeting will begin today (Monday, May 6) with the support of Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC).
In this meeting, 8,000 decision makers, more than 300 thought leaders and more than 200 exhibitors will gather to discuss the latest innovations and challenges and showcase advanced technologies.
Dubai FinTech Summit brings together startups, investors and industry leaders to connect with the growing FinTech market in the region and beyond.
According to data from dealroom.co, the fintech startup and venture capital landscape in the MENA region is currently strong with over 800 fintech startups valued at $15.5 billion.
The opening of the Fintech Dubai meeting attracted more than 5,000 C-suite leaders from more than 90 countries, including the North, 1,000 foreign capitals and more than 150 entrepreneurs.
It is said that more than 20 business contracts were signed with global financial leaders at the Fintech B meeting.
