Rafal Modrzewski, SIM operator and co-founder of global satellite company ICEYE, announced that the company is committed to expanding investment in the UAE for growth in its region and North Africa (MENA).

According to Amac News: Modrzewski said that the UAE has established a national fund for investment and development in the space sector worth 3 dirhams.
According to the CEO of ICEYE, this fund is pioneering new programs to support international companies that collaborate in the fields of engineering, science and applications.
He announced that the company raised $136 million in a 2022 investment round, bringing the total raised since inception to $34 million.
He said this money is being invested so that public and private sector entities can expand their capabilities in terms of artificial manipulation and beyond.
