Floods in Afghanistan have killed more than 300 people

The World Food Program has announced that 300 people have died and 1,000 houses have been destroyed due to floods in Baghlan province.


According to Amac News: This organization has published statistics this afternoon (Saturday, May 11) and said that the flood has killed 250 people in the central Barka and Baghlan districts of this province alone.
Local sources in Baghlan province say that "Falul" area and the central villages of Barka district of this province are more damaged than other areas.
Residents of Central Baghlan district who lost all their medicines due to the flood and need urgent help and shelter.
It is said that currently the transportation routes to this province are closed and only government helicopters are dropping food from the air for the people.
