The Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DoH) has announced that it has signed a collaboration agreement with the Mohammed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) and Core42 during the Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week (ADGHW).
According to Amac News: This agreement was signed between Mansour Al Mansouri, Head of the Abu Dhabi Ministry of Health (DOH), Kirill Otimov, Chief Technology Officer of G42 Group and Executive Director of Core42, in order to launch the Global Academy of Artificial Intelligence Healthcare in the UAE.
The AI Healthcare Global Academy aims to advance healthcare AI capabilities beyond education.
In partnership with MBZUAI through the newly established Digital Public Health Institute, the Academy will incorporate research and innovation into its future activities, pushing the boundaries of knowledge and nurturing ground-breaking discoveries.
Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week brings together researchers, policymakers, healthcare professionals, investors and entrepreneurs from across the global healthcare and life sciences ecosystem.
More than 5,000 participants, 1,000 representatives, 200 speakers and 100 exhibitors have participated in the "Abu Dhabi World Health Care Week".
The Ministry collaborates with M42 Foundation, PureHealth, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, Bergil Holdings, GSK, Institute for Healthier Living Abu Dhabi (IHLAD), Novartis to bring the vision of better health to life.
