the UAE Deputy Foreign Minister Khalid Abdulla Belhoul and India's Foreign Ministry Secretary Muktesh Pardeshi held the fifth round of their joint consular committee meeting in New Delhi.
According to Amac News: Belhoul and Pardeshi held this meeting to advance and consolidate cooperation in common consular fields in order to serve the citizens of the two countries.
In this meeting, the two sides discussed a number of common consular issues, their follow-up and development plans, and ways to strengthen joint consular cooperation.
Relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of India are marked by a remarkable trajectory of growth and deepening cooperation, especially since the bilateral relationship was upgraded to a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2017.
The implementation of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) on May 1, 2022 has greatly strengthened trade relations. The two sides aim to reach a bilateral trade volume of up to 100 billion dollars before the target year of 2030.
