The meeting of Sharjah-Mauritius Trade and Investment Forum was held

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), in collaboration with the Economic Development Board of the Republic of Mauritius, hosted the Sharjah-Mauritius Trade and Investment Forum.


According to Amac News: In this meeting, representatives of UAE companies and more than 60 Mauritian companies specializing in key sectors such as industry, tourism, agriculture, logistics, renewable energy and water economy participated in this event.
During the meeting, the Sharjah Chamber and the Mauritius Economic Development Board signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen business ties and strengthen mutual cooperation, encouraging the business communities in Sharjah and Mauritius to deepen economic ties.
The purpose of this agreement is to facilitate the visits and exchanges of business delegations as well as to coordinate the development and expansion of the business network that promotes the flow of business opportunities between the two regions.
SCCI President Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, stressed that the signed agreement has significant potential benefits for private sector representatives and innovators.
Pointing out that this agreement supports trade and economic cooperation, he emphasized the strong and continuous relations between the United Arab Emirates and Mauritius and the continuous efforts of the two countries to strengthen and expand their well-established economic relations.
Shawkat Ali Soudan, Ambassador of Mauritius to the UAE, emphasized that the Business and Investment Forum between Sharjah and Mauritius will create an important place to strengthen ties between the business communities of the two countries. It presents existing investment opportunities and explores promising areas of cooperation.
