The World Food Program has emphasized that climate change, conflicts, inequality, poverty and the consequences of the Corona disease are among the causes of the hunger of these people in the world, and 60% of hungry people live in areas that are affected by conflicts.
The organization wrote: "These factors have increased the access costs for the needy by pushing millions of vulnerable people into food insecurity. The World Food Program conducts activities to find solutions to hunger."
According to this organization, these conflicts are the main cause of 8 out of 10 extreme hunger crises, and along with war, the climate crisis is one of the main reasons for the sharp increase in hunger in the world.
