Kyodo News reported that the value of Tokyo stocks increased in global markets.

According to Amac News: Nikkei 225 average shares increased by 559.54 points, equal to 1.44%, to 39346.92.
According to the report, the broader Topix index increased by 33.27 points or 1.21% to reach 2778.89 points.
The Nikkei benchmark climbed above 39,000 for the first time in more than a month.
