The United Arab Emirates has announced that it has won the prestigious World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2024 award for the second year in a row.


According to Amac News: Winners from all over the world were recognized for their innovative approaches to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals during a special awards ceremony organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva, with initiatives and projects presented by more than 193 countries. The United Arab Emirates topped the world in terms of the number of awards received at the World Summit on the Information Society in Geneva with a total of 6 prestigious international awards in the use of advanced technology to achieve the goals of sustainable development and quality improvement.
