The head of Al-Habtoor Group says that the Taliban prevented a number of Afghan girls from traveling to the United Arab Emirates to study.

Al Habtoor Group operates in the automotive, real estate, education and publishing sectors and has gained a good reputation at the national and international level.
Ahmad al-Habtoor wrote on X channel: "We have been eagerly waiting for this day for a long time. After months of continuous efforts by the members of al-Habtoor group and I to receive university admission, accommodation, transportation, health insurance, and a set of comprehensive services for comfort and The safety of female students, our dreams have been dashed."
He said that the authorities in Afghanistan prevented these Afghan students from leaving without any justification and unjustly restricted their freedom.
So far, Taliban government officials have not commented on the matter.
The head of Al-Habtoor Group called this action of the Taliban "a deep tragedy" and called it "a blow against the principles of humanity, education, equality and justice".
Ahmad al-Habtoor added: "I call on all parties involved to act immediately and help save and help these struggling students."
