The Ministry of Water and Electricity of Afghanistan says that the practical work of the 500 KV power transmission line project from Dasht-e- Khaja Alwan Pul-Khumri to Arghandi Kabul has started.

According to Amac News: The Ministry of Water and Electricity of Afghanistan says that this project has been started under the management of the Ministry of Water and Energy with the investment of a private company in the area.
The ministry says that with the implementation of this project, more than 1000 megawatts of additional electricity will be transferred from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan, which, in addition to solving the problems of lack of electricity in Kabul and its 12 neighboring provinces, has also provided employment opportunities for hundreds of people.
