Emirates Airlines has announced that it has saved fuel and reduced greenhouse gas emissions by implementing the "Green Operating Procedures" initiative.

 
According to Amac News: By publishing a report entitled "How UAE pilots reduce fuel emissions during operations", the company said it is trying to reduce fuel burning and unnecessary pollutants.
 In the latest fiscal year 2023-2024, "Green Ops" and other operational initiatives helped the UAE reduce fuel consumption by more than 48,000 tonnes and carbon emissions by more than 151,000 tonnes.
Some of the key operational measures of this initiative include: optional additional fuel, flight speed optimization, flap landing reduction, standby reverse thrust, engine taxi reduction, optimized flight routing, technology and innovation-flight pulse, center of gravity optimization, use of APU, and raising potable water are regulated.
