The Ministry of Industry of Afghanistan approved the Law of Industrial Parks

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan has announced that the law of industrial parks has been ratified by the leadership of the caretaker government and the process of distributing land in industrial parks will begin in the near future.


According to Amac News: Nooruddin Azizi, acting head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said in the speech "Private Sector - Challenges and Opportunities" in Kabul that the acting government has made effective efforts to support the private sector in the past three years.
He added that 1000 industrial companies have recently received operating licenses from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and with the establishment of these companies, unemployment in the society will be reduced.
In this meeting, he asked the international community and other international organizations to cooperate in the projects whose works in Afghanistan reached 80% and need to be maintained.
According to the Acting Minister of Industry and Trade, if the remaining projects in Afghanistan are not completed by the donor institutions, these projects will be incomplete and millions of dollars will be lost.
In this regard, Mohammad Yunus Momand, the first deputy of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, says that Afghan businessmen and investors are facing many problems in obtaining visas.
He asked the international community and the countries of the region and the world to help and cooperate with Afghan businessmen in terms of visas so that the country's exports increase.
On the other hand, Andrika Retwat, Deputy of Human and Development Affairs, Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary General for Afghanistan (UNAMA) said in this program that Afghanistan's self-sufficiency in various fields is a common goal for the private sector and the international community.
Mr. Andrika added that the private sector of Afghanistan has faced many problems in the past three years and these problems must be solved.
According to him, the private sector of Afghanistan has provided job opportunities for the youth in the past 20 years and the United Nations is also ready to cooperate in this field.
UNAMA's Deputy Director of Humanitarian and Development Affairs says that the United Nations aid to Afghanistan increased by 1.3 billion dollars last year.
Stating that the United Nations created 2,845 small businesses for male and female artisans last year, he added that in 2023, the United Nations has provided work for more than 17,000 people in Afghanistan.
Andrika asked the international community to support Afghanistan's private sector and provide businessmen access to various markets.
