Emirates was elected as a member of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization

 The United Arab Emirates has announced that it participated in the general assembly elections of this organization, which was held in Rabat, on behalf of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (GCAA).


According to Amac News: Emirates was re-elected as a member of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization by a unanimous vote.
The United Arab Emirates will continue to support the efforts of the Arab Organization and cooperate with the newly elected Chairman of the Executive Council to advance the strategic and administrative goals of this organization.
The purpose of this endowment is to ensure a safe and stable future for the Arab aviation sector, to create a coherent and effective presence of Arab member countries in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and to upgrade the Arab civil aviation sector to a more advanced state.
The executive council of the organization consists of 9 members who are elected by the general assembly from among the candidates of the member countries for a period of two years.
