Abu Dhabi Environmental Agency (EAD), in collaboration with its strategic partners, has announced the results of the past 12 months in the implementation of Abu Dhabi's first program.

The agency seeks to achieve the aspirations of the Abu Dhabi government that it is a global environmental and climate leader by 2071.
EAD added that during the year 2023, a total of 212 experts made 195 achievements and positive results. Partners also achieved 32 additional achievements and positive results outside the 100th anniversary of the 2023 environmental programs.
Sheikh al Mazroui, executive director of the Planning and Integrated Environmental Policy Department, emphasized that the EAD and its partners are seeking to implement three strategic paths of the 100th anniversary.
He added that including 65 action programs focused on results, reinforce cooperation and stimulate future green developments.
According to him, a total of 14 programs ended with a 49 % improvement rate, which affected 18 countries through international participation and participation.
In addition, a water management policy was issued throughout the cooling plants of Abu Dhabi area and its mechanism was prepared in collaboration with the relevant persons to ensure the use of responsible water and eliminate harmful liquid discharge.
Similarly, EAD air quality modeling systems have increased and now cover different atmospheric variables and scattering chemicals. In addition, 40 factory chimneys are electronically linked to the Emirates Supervision System.
In addition, the initiative of Abu Dhabi Landscape 2050 was unveiled and set a long -term framework for gradual and balanced transfer to carbon neutrality for key parts.
