The United Nations Children's Fund says that as a result of the recent floods in Afghanistan, more than 10,000 houses in five provinces of Afghanistan have been partially and completely destroyed.

According to Amac News: The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) published a report saying that these residential houses in Badakhshan, Takhar, Baghlan Ghor and Faryab provinces were damaged due to floods.
Based on this report, from May 10 to 11, as a result of floods in 21 districts of Badakhshan, Takhar and Baghlan provinces, 7,800 houses were completely destroyed or damaged and more than 5,000 families were displaced.
This organization said that more than 27 health and nutrition centers were destroyed and 62 schools were seriously damaged in Ghor province.
