According to Amac News: In the announcement of the Federal National Council, it is stated that the heads of the legislative councils of the Persian Gulf and the Arab assemblies were present in this meeting.
Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, representative of the Arab Group in the IPU Executive Committee, presented a report on the results of the 294th session of the IPU Executive Committee and Finance Committee.
He said that in this meeting, the IPU budget for 2025 was approved based on five new interconnected strategic goals of IPU for 2022-2026.
The 2025 budget will see a 3 percent increase due to the increase in annual contributions from member parliaments. He added that it is based on the previous decision of the Board of Governors to increase contributions by 3 percent during the years 2026-2023.
