The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) announced by publishing a report that the value of checks cleared using the ICCS video clearing system has reached 544.4 billion dirhams.

According to Amac News: Central Bank stated in its report that more than 9.33 million checks were distributed in the first five months of 2024.
According to the banking and monetary statistics of May 2024 by the Central Bank of the Emirates, the value of checks cleared in the months of January, February, March, April and May reached 109.4 billion dirhams.
According to the report, the value of checks was 1.965 million checks, 106.7 billion dirhams (1.837 million checks), 112.6 billion dirhams (1.855 million checks), 92.9 billion dirhams (1.66 million checks) and 112.7 billion dirhams (2.01 million checks).
Statistics show that the value of Central Bank's cash deposits in the first five months of this year reached 75.1 billion dirhams and cash withdrawals reached 88.17 billion dirhams, including 88.1 billion dirhams in banknote withdrawals and 29.8 million dirhams in coin withdrawals.
