The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced by publishing a report that the authority has launched 558 11 kV distribution substations across Dubai in the first half of 2024.

According to Amac News: Saeed Muhammad Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced that the construction of these posts and related works totaled 420,350 hours of work and was completed according to the highest health and safety standards. .
Altair stressed that DEWA will continue its efforts to keep pace with Dubai's significant development and growth and meet the increasing demand for electricity.
He added that DEWA has 72 33 kV substations in service and 44,472 medium voltage substations (11 kV and 6.6 kV) in service.
